Whispers of Struggle

Goodbyes are tough, there’s no way around,
When someone you love isn’t still around.
But at least there were laughs and good times shared,
Moments that showed how much that you cared.

It helps a bit, through all the pain,
To hold onto memories that still remain.
Even though they’re gone, it’s easier to get by,
With the comfort of the last “I love you” and final goodbye.
