You’ll meet people who’ll say they fear nothing,
But deep down inside, they’re scared of something.
It’s not about shadows or things in the dark,
It’s fears that leave a real, lasting mark.
Maybe it’s losing someone they hold close,
Or feeling forgotten when they need someone most.
It might be the weight of a choice gone wrong,
Or facing a world where they feel they don’t belong.
Everyone’s scared, though they might not show,
Of things they don’t say, of truths they don’t know.
So if you feel fear, you’re not on your own—
It’s something that all of us at some point have known.
